Add a Title to your Asset Tag or Asset Label

The most common title for an asset tag is ‘PROPERTY OF’. Other common entries for asset labels are: ‘Do Not Remove – Property of’; But, not all tags are Asset Tags! Tags are used for equipment identification, service call-back or inventory. Typical titles include: ‘For Sales and Support Call’; ‘FOR SERVICE CALL’; ‘INSTALLED BY’; and, ‘INVENTORY TAG’.

Make sure that you can help retrieve “lost” assets. Most asset tags or service tags use the third line of text to add your city and state, department name or phone number to call in case equipment is lost.
