Tamper-evident labels are specialized asset tags designed to show visible evidence of removal or tampering. Once applied, these labels cannot be removed cleanly, either leaving a VOID message on the surface, destroying the label itself, or both. Tamper-evident labels work through specialized adhesives and face materials that bond permanently to the tagged surface. Tamper-evident labels are made from destructible vinyl, polyester, and metalized foil materials, each engineered to respond differently to removal attempts. Destructible vinyl tears apart on removal, making clean peeling impossible. Polyester void labels leave a VOID imprint on the surface.
